With 2021 (wow that’s still so crazy to say!) finally here, that means we posted our first blog post 7 months ago, on June 1st. We wanted to take a moment and reflect on how our blog did in 2020, and some of the things we hope to do in 2021. So, thank you to everyone who’s read our blog and has supported us. Also, after we get through all of that, we will also be giving our January updates at the end of this post.
In the past year, we have learned a lot about what blogging is.It’s not just writing and posting articles, it’s interacting with other bloggers and getting to know other people. There’s so much more to it than just writing up an article and posting it, especially if you want to be successful.
We’ve also had a couple of our blog posts be very successful with search engines, with A Beginner’s Guide to the Trolley Problem being the most successful.
We’ve had a few guest bloggers come on, which was very fun to do and very fun to reach out to them. If you’re interested in being a guest blogger, feel free to reach out and we can figure out the logistics!
Over the course of 7 months, we’ve racked up over 75 followers on our blog, and over 100 in total taking into account the rest of our social media.
This year, we hope to be able to get some more followers and extend our reach. We want to have more of our articles be more successful and get more views. With this, we also want to upgrade our blog to be a paid plan within the first half of 2021.
We also intend on creating some packages for AP classes with tools that should help you with studying for the classes and help you do well in those classes. We will for sure be doing one for World History, US History, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Physics 1, and Language and Composition, but if there are any other classes you would like us to do, let us know and we’ll see what we can do!
We’re also planning on posting on our patreon more regularly, so be sure to check that out and become a patron!
Another thing that we would like to do in 2021 is do more with social media, and grow our bases there as well and post more on there.
So this month, we will continue with the same posting schedule as we have been using most of last month, which was 5pm on Mondays and Thursdays. We will try to miss less uploads coming up in these next months, but given that we are high school juniors taking difficult classes, that might not always be possible.
If there’s any articles you’d like us to post this upcoming month or in future months, do not hesitate to let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
Be sure to check out our socials which are linked down below, and as always, keep on overachieving!
